I was inspired by my pastor.
He always has this energy around him that whenever he walks in at church the mood of the congregation would suddenly be uplifted. I enjoy his sermons so much that I wish I could listen to him preach for the whole day sometimes.
So I want to bring that same energy into the classroom environment; I want every learner's mood to be uplifted the moment I walk into class. I want to play a pastoral (caring) role to them. I also want every learner to have the same desire to interact with me as that I have for my pastor.
When I wake up every Sunday morning I can't wait to see him, greet him and learn from the day's sermon. That is exactly the kind of relationship I want to establish with my learners. I can imagine walking into class one day and seeing those beautiful faces, greeting me in exitement for the day's lesson.
